Head Coach Lindsey Lee
Coach Lee is beginning her fourth year of teaching and coaching at Friendswood High School.  Coach Lee comes to Friendswood from Lufkin, Texas.  She was the 2004 5A Texas state champion in the 300 meter hurdles. She went on to run the 100 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles and 4 x 400 relay at Texas A&M University.  During Coach Lee's time at Texas A&M, she was a four year letterman,  six time Academic All Big XII athlete, national qualifier for the NCAA meet in the 100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles, and helped her team win back to back Big XII Championships.  During the 2019 season, Coach Lee led the Lady Mustangs to the first District Championship in 12 years, to their first Area Championship, and 11 athletes qualified for the Regional meet.  Coach Lee coaches the girls sprints, girls relays and girls/boys 100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles. Coach Lee resides in Friendswood with her husband Colin and daughters Kennedy, Piper and Avery.  

Assistant Coach Shane Deel
Coach Deel g
raduated from Angelo State University in 2000.  This is his 21st year in coaching and teaching.  He's married and has a 5 year old son named Kipton and 16 year old step-son named Xander.  This is his 2nd year teaching and coaching at Friendswood.  He coaches the girls and boys shot put and discuss for the Mustangs.
